A group of artists and friends are gathering for an exhibition this Wednesday night!

Who: 10 artists, we have a very creative bunch of photographers, painters and print-makers, including Red Bubblers (some fresh from Steve McLaren's Tap Gallery show) and a few members of the Fringe Shutter Collective.
When: December 9th, from 7pm
Where: Ma Gallery, 27 Dick St, Chippendale

Come along, there's a very impressive array of works on display, some live music and nibbles/drinks!

I was somehow convinced (after the 17km hike) to climb Mt Oakleigh, which ended up making the day a full 9hrs of hiking. Soooooo worth it. The view from the top was incredible. In this pic, you can barely see New Pelion Hut through the trees (top centre). We hiked across the plain through the trees on the left, then had to pick a way through the tarns and small rivers that ran all through the area before ascending the mountain.
